是江西省精品资源共享课、江西省精品课《动物学》课程负责人，主持完成江西省高校教学改革项目2项；主讲《动物学》《生命科学导论》等课程；指导的学生作品获“挑战杯”全国大学生课外学术科技作品竞赛三等奖一项、江西省赛区一等奖两项；主持获得省级教学成果奖一等奖1项，参与获得省级教学成果奖一等奖、二等奖各1项，主持获得校级教学成果奖一等奖2项。

科研情况

主要从事动物分子生态学、昆虫基因组学和保护生物学研究；主持国家自然科学基金项目5项，省部级项目9项；发表论文80余篇，其中以第一作者或者通讯作者发表SCI 收录论文32篇；获省部级自然科学二等奖2项、中国动物学会第四届青年科技奖、第七届郑作新鸟类科学青年奖等奖励。享受国务院政府特殊津贴、江西省政府特殊津贴。

学术兼职

入选赣鄱英才555工程、江西省主要学科学术与技术带头人、江西省新世纪百千万人才工程、江西省青年科学家、江西省高等学校中青年骨干教师等；是IUCN/ SSC委员、SSC/ WPA雉类专家组成员；是中国动物学学会鸟类学分会理事、江西省动物学会副理事长、江西省生态学会理事。
